House System

HIgh School

Every student who attends Sekolah Ciputra is a member of a ‘House’. There are four houses:
•    Green
•    Blue
•    Red
•    Yellow

The House system fosters leadership and responsibility among more senior students and encourages involvement, loyalty, co-operation and good discipline among all students. Each House is managed by a house leader (a teacher) and two student leaders from both junior and senior high school.

The house system encourages competition in three areas of school activity: sports, academic and the Arts. Throughout the year, there are regular house activities such as Swimming Carnival, Athletics Day, Sports Day, Literacy Day, House Music Competition and the Cross Country Run. Students are awarded points for both success and participation.

Elementary School

A similar system to that of the High School has been operating in the Elementary School since 2005 but without an overall yearly winner being declared. The major House events are Cross Country, Ball Games and Athletics. The results in recent years in these competitions have been:
